In 1997, King was named Conference USA's Coach of the Year as Memphis won its first conference title and advanced to the NCAA's for the first time under her guidance. Before taking the head-coaching job at Memphis, King was a noted teaching professional at the Windyke Country Club in Memphis. In 1996, she was named the PGA West Tennessee Teacher of the Year and in 1997, the LPGA National Coach of the Year. King was hired on at Notre Dame as the head coach from 2001 to 2006. Debby King guided the Fighting Irish women's golf program to unprecedented levels. She led the Irish to 11 team tournament victories in her tenure, including two BIG EAST Tournament titles in 2003 and 2004. Nancy Woodke (call 541-912-8012 to book lessons)
LPGA Apprentice Member
lpga_logo.jpg

Nancy has 14 years of instruction experience with Eugene School District 4j. She combines a love for golf and people (especially kids) with a successful amateur golf career. She grew up in Eugene and played competitive golf for Sheldon High School where she was a two time OSAA State Champion, as well as a two time OGA State Junior Champion. She played collegiate golf on scholarship for the University of Arizona and later the University of Washington, and won the Pacific Northwest Women’s Amateur before focusing on raising a family. After more than two decades away from competitive golf she finished second in the 2009 Oregon State Stroke Play Championship Senior Division before deciding she wanted to help others reach their golf potential.  If you have always wanted to give golf a try, or are curious about what it is that makes this game so fun, give Nancy a call to try her student-centered approach.
